The KGP-922 is a compact GPS/DGPS navigator that meets IMO/IEC standards, making it suitable for vessels that need an approved GPS for mandatory SOLAS carriage as well as general commercial navigation use.
It has a 4.3-inch color LCD (480x272) and typical position accuracy of about 4.2m with GPS or 3.3m with DGPS/SBAS correction. It can store up to 5,000 waypoints, 100 routes, and 3,000 track points.
The display unit is rated IPX2 and the antenna unit IPX6, so the antenna is built for open-deck exposure while the display suits a sheltered bridge location. It runs on 10.8-31.2V DC, drawing 6W or less at 24V.
